The 4th solo Galaxy „Di Mashin די מאַשין” is fully original and consists of 8 songs written by Maria Ka contemporarily in Yiddish. The material is inspired by the title main theme of broadly understood machinery, mechanisms & multilayered systems of rhythmic, steady clatter driven by people’s emotions & relations. It is mmersed in rock, electronics, punk, cold – wave & more. Music side is also based on mathematic coherence and cadent regularity, both forming a metaphor of a metrical machine’s worh. The pieces include rich references to Maria’s current place of living – Gdańsk, which everyday pace and diverse landscape is portrayed in parts of the album.

Blending various Music genres and styles, album is symbolically divided in 2 parts : electronic ( ע ) and rock | guitar ( ר ). Each song’s name is tagged with the first Yiddish letter of a represented general genre so that You, dear Listener, could choose Your own order of listening, matching Your subjective sense of experiencing Music.

Yiddish is a very important aspect of the whole. It is a language rarely used nowadays for creating new artistic forms, and in general opinion might exist rather as an element of the past or some religious circles than contemporary Music pieces. Maria Ka restores its culture – forming function and presents a Music story on various mechanisms lying under pulsating motion systems : industrial, metropolitan, Cosmic and Universal. 

Created in the tragic context of the war in the Middle East, the album shares the intentions of Peace, Love, Light, & Dialogue.
